Job Summary
The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling high-quality fire-rated metal doors. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle-from prospecting architects and contractors to closing deals-and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (60-70%)
- Generate Sales Leads: Actively identify and pursue new project opportunities in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors through cold calling, networking, and following up on tender leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, main contractors, and consultants to get products specified in projects.
- Technical Sales & Presentations: Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations focusing on the fire-rating, compliance (e.g., SS 332, EN 1634), and quality of metal doors.
- Site Visits & Quotations: Conduct site assessments, take measurements, prepare accurate technical proposals, and manage tender submissions.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and achieve monthly/annual targets.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal operations, production, and technical teams to ensure on-time delivery and installation.
Marketing & Lead Generation Support (30-40%)
- Marketing Material Development: Create and update product brochures, data sheets, and project case studies that showcase completed installations.
- Digital & Social Media Presence: Manage company social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook) and update website content to promote product advantages.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and new building safety regulations to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Trade Shows & Networking: Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote fire-safety solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical), Building Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry, fire protection products, or architectural hardware.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with passive fire protection, fire-rated door standards (e.g., SCDF, SS, BS EN standards), and site installation processes.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
- Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office
- Requirement: Possess own transport to visit sites.
