Sales and Marketing Manager
Job Summary
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth and expand market presence. Lead sales operations in supermarkets and distribution channels, ensuring accurate product entry and inventory management. Build and nurture strong customer relationships while leading a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and increase market share
- Manage sales operations by accurately entering new product data and price adjustments into the Point of Sales system to ensure seamless transactions
- Source and purchase vegetables from wholesale markets and coordinate timely distribution to small shops and business partners to maintain supply chain efficiency
- Oversee and optimize distribution channels to meet sales objectives and maximize market coverage
- Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing customer inquiries and feedback to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through regular stock takes and inventory control measures at consignment stores to ensure stock accuracy
- Coordinate and track customer orders and requests to ensure timely fulfillment and service quality
- Lead, train, and coach staff to uphold high standards of customer service, housekeeping, and workplace safety compliance
- Conduct periodic security checks and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Organize product displays and arrange goods to enhance visual merchandising and customer engagement
- Adapt to a fast-paced, demanding work environment while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid 2A/2B/Class 3/Class 4 driving license to support delivery of goods to customers doorsteps as part of online order fulfillment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or related discipline
- 4 to 8 years of experience in B2B sales or wholesale brand consumer products, preferably within the industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, web applications, Photoshop, and mobile apps to support online delivery initiatives and digital marketing efforts
- Strong computer skills to manage Point of Sales system entries and price adjustments effectively
