Job Description

Key Purpose:

To increase CHINT's market share while driving growth and expanding our market presence within the medium voltage electrical equipment and solutions domain.

You will be responsible for the sales and business development plans and activities to actively grow the Medium Voltage, transformer and distributed electrical solutions business. Your focus will be on managing and developing relationships with direct buying customers such as contractors, end users and EPCs to achieve sales targets and business objectives. You will also collaborate together with other sales and marketing professionals locally and with the corporate headquarters.

You will have a great opportunity to utilize your existing industry networks and contribute your skillsets in business development, strategic thinking, and sales.

The roll is s full time position based our Singapore APAC headquarters office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to promote medium voltage electrical equipment, power & distribution transformers, and distributed electrical solutions (package substations, E-house, containerized solutions etc), ensuring market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve ambitious sales targets and consistently work towards achieving and exceeding them through efficient planning and execution while ensuring timely collection of accounts receivables.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients within the energy, industrial, commercial, datacenter, infrastructure and utility sectors, building a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our medium voltage, transformers, and distributed electrical product portfolio, demonstrating technical expertise during client interactions and presentations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Market Expansion: Identify untapped markets and explore opportunities for business expansion, channel partner acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
  • Customer Education: Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions together with the marketing and technical teams for clients to showcase the benefits and applications of medium voltage, transformers and distributed electrical solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and project management, to deliver comprehensive and customer-centric solutions.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, prepare regular sales reports, and provide insights to the management team.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build networks, stay updated on industry trends, and generate new leads.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of industry experience in areas of sales & marketing or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in sales within the medium voltage electrical equipment, power & distribution transformers, and distributed electrical solutions industry.
  • Product knowledge of medium voltage electrical equipment, power & distribution transformers, and distributed electrical solutions etc will be highly advantageous.
  • Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Practical understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • High adaptability, professionalism, and ability to enhance the organization's market presence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering results with a deep understanding of customer needs.
