Job Description
We are a training and skills development organisation offering professional courses, workshops, and industry-focused programmes. With a lean team structure, we are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager who is directly responsible for generating sales and enrolments for our training programmes.
The role requires the candidate to personally drive sales, engage prospects, conduct programme briefings, and close enrolments with minimal administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales & Enrolment Generation
- Actively source, engage, and convert individual and corporate clients for professional training programmes
- Conduct programme consultations and briefings via in-person meetings, phone, and online platforms
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and enrolment targets
Programme Promotion & Outreach
- Promote training programmes through enquiries, referrals, outreach activities, and events
- Participate in marketing activities such as open houses, workshops, talks, and industry events
- Work with management to identify target markets and growth opportunities
Corporate & B2B Sales
- Approach companies and organisations for corporate training, workshops, and customised programmes
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-up communications
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to contract confirmation
Sales Administration & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of leads, enrolments, and client communications
- Coordinate with trainers and operations teams to ensure smooth programme delivery
- Provide basic sales reports and forecasts to management
Compliance & Professional Representation
- Ensure all programme descriptions, pricing, and claims are communicated accurately
- Represent the organisation professionally and ethically in all sales activities
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in training, services, or B2B environments
- Strong track record in closing sales independently in a lean organisation
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident in client-facing sales discussions
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working with targets
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience selling professional training, workshops, or service-based offerings
- Familiarity with corporate clients and B2B sales processes
