We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to grow sales in the commercial kitchen equipment sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, with in-depth knowledge of the foodservice or hospitality industry. You will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and driving overall sales performance in the commercial kitchen equipment market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets within the commercial kitchen equipment market.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to maximize individual and team sales performance.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, both local and regional, to expand the customer base. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including restaurant owners, catering services, and foodservice operators.
- Customer Relationship Management: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with both pre-sale and post-sale support.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market demands.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring profitable sales and maintaining company policies and margins.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, analyze data, and report on sales metrics to senior management. Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment products, their features, benefits, and specifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry or a related field (foodservice, hospitality, equipment sales).
- Leadership: Proven experience with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Sales Skills: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in high-value and long sales cycles.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration, dishwashing systems, and food preparation equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, internal teams, and senior management.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close deals successfully.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to read technical drawings related to kitchen layouts and equipment specifications.
