Position Summary

This role is responsible for managing and expanding distribution channels across assigned South Asia markets to drive sustainable business growth. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with distributor partners while also developing direct business relationships with key end customers, opinion leaders, and stakeholders to strengthen Dornier MedTech's market presence.

The role requires a highly driven and independent sales professional with strong business development capabilities and adapt quickly in a dynamic market by adopting a proactive approach to support distributors, customers, and critical commercial activities.

This position involves frequent regional travel and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure sales growth, brand positioning, and service excellence across markets. This is an individual contributor role working alongside other Sales Managers, Operations and Service teams to drive our growth vision.

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve performance targets as defined by management in line with regional business objectives.
  • Drive consistent execution and performance across assigned markets.
  • Manage partners and develop distribution network within assigned markets to ensure optimal coverage and capability.
  • Be proactively involved in commercial discussions, negotiate terms and close business agreements with partners.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to assess customer needs, competitive landscape and market access.
  • Develop market appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Understand key market drivers and dynamics and translate insights into actionable country-level strategies to drive sustainable business growth and strategic priorities.
  • Partner closely with Regional Marketing to implement plans to strengthen Dornier Medtech branding across distributor activities and customer engagements.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with service team to achieve service targets.
  • Support distributors on strengthening industry partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, opinion leaders and healthcare stakeholders alongside distributors.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ethical standards and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements across all distributor interactions and activities.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives that support business growth, market development and operational improvement.

Job Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification

Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant regional work in sales and distributor management with proven record of strong commercial results.
  • Extensive experience operating in South Asia, Southeast Asia or Australasia is mandatory with demonstrated ability to manage diverse healthcare markets.
  • Mandatory experience in medical capital equipment sales, preferably in a distributor led business model.
  • Experience within Urology or related clinical specialties is a strong advantage
