    Our client, a listed hospitality company, is seeking a Sales Manager to manage regional hotel sales within an assigned territory, targeting all relevant and potential markets.

    This role is responsible for developing and executing a well-defined, focused sales and marketing action plan aligned with the hotels overall marketing objectives and revenue targets.

    You will report to the Regional Director of Sales and MD.
    Responsibilities
    1) Business Development
    - Develop new corporate accounts and maintain relationships with existing accounts, negotiating to obtain RFPs (Request for Proposals) in collaboration with hotel personnel and utilizing available tools and systems.
    - Identify and pursue tactical marketing opportunities with airlines, travel agencies, and national tourism organizations (NTOs).
    - Execute aggressive sales campaigns on targeted accounts across the region through sales calls, telesales, and other communication methods.
    - Participate in trade shows and seminars, actively soliciting and following up on leads. Maximize exposure through creative promotion before, during, and after events.

    2) Account Management
    - Establish and maintain active working relationships with key accounts.
    - Conduct presentations to all assigned accounts according to the sales action plan.
    - Distribute hotel collateral to accounts within the designated area.

    3) Customer Support / Partner Management
    - Follow up on all enquiries/sales leads for all companies under the Group from potential and existing clients promptly.
    - Coordinate trips with travel partners and escort them as needed.
    - Maintain positive working relationships with hotel sales teams through timely and informative replies to inquiries, quality lead generation, and comprehensive information on qualified accounts.

    4) Other Sales and Marketing Responsibilities
    - Prepare sales and marketing reports, and update sales action plans and PR activities.
    - Participate in sales and marketing meetings as required.
    - Regularly update account, sales activity, and booking information in all company systems.
    - Adhere to budget guidelines and submit all expense requests to the Regional Director of Sales.
    - Perform other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Regional Director of Sales or the company.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Requirements & Preferences

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
    - Currently working in the hospitality/tourism industry, or with active experience in the hospitality/tourism industry within the past 3 years.
    - At least 10 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry.
    - Experience managing VIP or high-value clients in the luxury travel/hospitality sector.
    - Willingness to participate in a 2-week training program in Japan, including facility tours and inspections.
    - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for reports and presentations.
    - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

    (Advantageous)
    - Regional sales experience covering multiple countries or markets.
    - Prior experience working with a Japanese company or in a Japanese business environment.
