Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Manager for one of our clients, a well-established and reputable leader in the industrial and engineering services sector. This person will lead the Data Center Segment across Southeast Asia. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for defining sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and closing high-value deals with key accounts, consultants, and system integrators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Locate, develop, and negotiate business relationships with potential and existing key accounts, influencers, and decision-makers in the Data Center space.

  • Strategic Planning: Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets specifically for the Southeast Asia Data Center market.

  • Pipeline Management: Build and advance a robust opportunity pipeline, ensuring all data is accurately managed through the CRM system until deal closure.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate long-term relationships with end customers and contractors, working closely with regional and global teams to deliver persuasive pitches.

  • Distribution Support: Collaborate with distribution partners to provide project guidance on pricing, quotation strategies, and technical support.

  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market conditions and competitive positioning to provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Brand Advocacy: Represent the company at trade events and associations. Work with engineering teams to prepare technical papers and presentation materials for industry conferences.

  • Technical Expertise: Act as the regional expert in Data Center power products, industry standards, and on-site power system design/integration.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • At least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation industry.

  • Deep knowledge of the Data Center segment is critical.

  • Proven success in both direct and channel sales, with the ability to negotiate with senior executives.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region.
