Job Description
Location: Singapore Expo
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing client accounts by building strong, long-term relationships, understanding clients business objectives and event requirements, and recommending customised venue solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and event lifecycle, from initial enquiry through contract closure, event execution, and post-event follow-up, while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Event Management Services, Operations, Marketing etc) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, market intelligence, targeted sales campaigns, client meetings, sales presentations, venue tours, and site inspections.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support sales strategy, lead generation, and business growth.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and weekly sales activities report.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, customer records, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and sales governance processes.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Events Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Venue/Events Sales related, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the MICE, hospitality, events, exhibitions, or venue management industry will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Customer-centric with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, when required for events.
