Position Overview:To drive business growth, revenue generation, and client retention for SeaSafe Marine by managing all commercial activities related to LSA, FFE, and Marine Technical Services, while ensuring alignment with technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and company strategy.
Requirements:
1.Identify and develop new business opportunities through reach out to ship owners, ship managers, fleet operators, and shipyards.
2.Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long term partnerships.
3.Customer registration inline with internal process and ensure inclusion in approved vendor lists to generate continuous enquiries.
4.Achieve annual sales, revenue, and client retention targets as defined by company management.
5.Act as the primary commercial point of contact for all client enquiries.
6.Coordinate with the Service and Technical teams to close quotations issued by the Service team.
7.Secure new Fleet Service Agreements (FSA) and manage timely renewal of existing FSAs.
8.Prepare, review, and negotiate tenders, commercial proposals, service contracts, and framework agreements.
9.Develop and implement sales strategies for LSA, FFE, and technical service work profiles in line with company objectives.
10.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer expectations.
11.Advise management and Service teams on required changes in sales or service strategy based on market intelligence.
12.Ensure all sales activities, contracts, and client communications comply with SeaSafe Marine's QMS, internal procedures, approved conditions and clients Technical Scope and Class and Flag Limitations.
14.Coordinate with the Finance team for payment follow-ups, outstanding receivables, and commercial risk control.
15.Support internal teams during contract clarifications and client escalations.
16.Liaise with Technical Coordinators, Technical Superintendents and Fleet Managers for closure of existing and upcoming service jobs.
17.Coordinate with Shipyards and repair facilities for upcoming dry-dock and project-based service opportunities.
18.Represent SeaSafe Marine in exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.
19.Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM records.
20.Prepare periodic sales report covering- Sales performance / Hit rates / Client feedback / Market conditions and opportunities for Management Review.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with1-2 years of working experiencein the sales of marine services, LSA/FFE, ship management, or related marine environments will be an advantage.
- Strong interest inmarine sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Basic understanding of marine products and services, particularly LSA/FFE, is preferred.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to support sales discussions and contract processes.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to learn technical and commercial aspects of the marine industry.
