Drive new business development by identifying and securing opportunities with shipowners, operators, charterers, and maritime companies
Promote and sell shipping consultancy services, including commercial advisory, operational support, market intelligence, and related solutions
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted commercial advisor
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close consultancy engagements
Work closely with internal consultants and analysts to tailor solutions to client needs
Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue KPIs
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasts
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within shipping, maritime services, or shipping consultancy
Strong understanding of shipping markets (e.g. dry bulk, tanker, container, offshore, or related segments)
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to engage senior stakeholders, including shipowners and C-level executives
Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
