We are seeking a results-driven, senior Sales Manager based in Singapore to spearhead sales initiatives for our display and semiconductor product portfolio across the APAC region and global markets. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in high-value strategic account management, cross-border business expansion, and revenue scaling within the display/semiconductor industry to drive profitable growth. You will serve as the pivotal link between our global business strategy and APAC's key market opportunities, with a focus on unlocking synergies between Singapore's regional hub advantages and China's robust supply chain and client ecosystem.
Candidates with relevant work experience in China, a strong foundation of domestic client relationships and key industry resources, fluent Mandarin speaking and writing skills, and a track record of navigating global market dynamics will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for the APAC region (centered in Singapore) and global markets, focusing on high-growth segments: mobile devices, automotive displays, wearables, and medium-sized devices (PAD/NB/MNT).
Drive end-to-end sales cycles for high-value global and regional accounts, from initial client engagement and needs assessment to contract negotiation, mass production onboarding, and revenue delivery, with a target of achieving annual sales of $[X]M+.
Leverage China's domestic supply chain strengths and existing client networks to identify and capture new business opportunities, expanding market share for a-Si/LTPS LCD, OLED, flexible displays, and automotive display panels across APAC and beyond.
2. Key Account Management & Relationship Building
Act as the primary point of contact for strategic global clients (top-tier smartphone, automotive, and consumer electronics brands) and key APAC/China-based customers, nurturing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Lead cross-functional Iron Triangle (Sales, Delivery, Product) teams to deliver seamless client support, including technical solution customization, project delivery, and after-sales service, improving client retention and satisfaction rates.
Establish and institutionalize standardized high-value client engagement frameworks to replicate success across global accounts and scale best practices within the APAC region.
3. Market & Team Collaboration
Conduct in-depth market analysis to track industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands across global markets and China's regional landscape, providing actionable insights to refine sales strategies.
Collaborate with global R&D, procurement, quality control, and production teams (including China-based facilities) to align product roadmaps with client needs, ensuring timely market entry and competitive product positioning.
Mentor and guide junior sales team members in Singapore, sharing industry expertise and sales best practices to build a high-performance team capable of driving regional and global growth.
4. Cross-Border Business Coordination
Facilitate cross-regional communication and collaboration between Singapore-based teams, global stakeholders, and China-based partners, ensuring alignment of sales objectives, credit terms, and risk management protocols across time zones and markets.
Optimize cross-border sales processes (including trade term negotiation, supply chain coordination, and accounts receivable risk mitigation) to support secure and efficient transactions between Singapore, China, and other global markets.
Job Requirements
1. Experience & Qualifications
12+ years of senior sales experience in the display or semiconductor industry, and scaling business from scratch to mass production milestones.
7+ years of team leadership and management experience, with a history of building and leading high-performance cross-functional sales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Mandatory requirement: Possess sales work experience and market management experience in China's display/semiconductor related fields, with a strong foundation of domestic client relationships and key industry resources.
Demonstrated expertise in managing strategic global accounts, with deep knowledge of display technologies (a-Si/LTPS LCD, OLED, flexible displays, automotive displays) and semiconductor supply chains.
Bachelor's degree or above in International Economics, Business Administration, or related fields MBA is a plus.
Priority consideration will be given to candidates with extensive China market experience, especially those who can leverage local resources to drive cross-border business growth.
2. Core Competencies
Proficiency in strategic account lifecycle management, revenue forecasting, channel optimization, and P&L responsibility.
Strong cross-functional collaboration, process optimization, and on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery management skills to support complex client projects.
Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate multinational teams and engage with global clients effectively.
Mandatory requirement: Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written), with the ability to deeply understand both written and verbal information from Chinese clients and provide appropriate, accurate responses.
Business-level or above proficiency in English is required for Singapore-based operations and global stakeholder communication.
