Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the exhibitions and events industry.
- Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and convert them into revenue.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Actively conduct outdoor sales activities, including client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, project management) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the exhibitions/events industry.
- Proven track record in a hunter sales role, with consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Strong existing network and contacts within the events, exhibitions, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the events/exhibitions landscape.
- Experience in selling exhibition space, event sponsorships, or event-related services.
- Established relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event organizers.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
