Our client is a leading tarding company in oil & gas industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to be part of their Finance Team. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.
Duties of Assistant Finance Manager:
- Review financial transactions, journals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including month-end closing processes
- Review sales/purchases, AR/AP ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules, and MTM valuations
- Coordinate tax compliance across jurisdictions (e.g. VAT, corporate tax) with external advisors
- Manage transfer pricing and liaise with HQ on accounting and tax matters
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Review and guide Accounts Executives to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely issue resolution
- Identify financial and compliance risks, and strengthen internal controls
- Drive process improvements and support system enhancement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting field
- Min 5 years of accounting and tax experience in trading industry
- Experience in handling multi entities
