About the Role

The Sales Manager – Retrofit is responsible for developing, promoting, and securing high-value retrofit and upgrade projects across Marine and Power sectors. This includes lifecycle solutions such as Dual Fuel Conversions, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), EEXI compliance upgrades, and other decarbonization projects. The incumbent will manage the full sales cycle from technical consultation and solution design to proposal negotiation and contract closure, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, customer-centric retrofit solutions that support Everllence's sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target fleet owners, operators, and energy providers with potential retrofit and upgrade needs.
  • Promote the Everllence portfolio of emission-reducing and fuel-conversion solutions in line with evolving IMO regulations and customer sustainability targets.
  • Proactively develop a strong pipeline of opportunities through direct engagement, events, and industry networks.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Technical Sales, and the Product Centre to structure technically sound, customized retrofit packages.
  • Analyze vessel specifications, engine configurations, and operational data to determine feasibility and ROI.
  • Conduct technical-commercial discussions with customers to align on expectations and scope.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates, pricing strategies, risk analysis, and timeline commitments.
  • Lead negotiations, ensuring alignment with Everllence's financial targets and contract terms.
  • Ensure proper internal approvals, documentation, and compliance with legal and export control requirements.
  • Act as the main customer interface throughout the pre-contract phase, providing expert guidance and timely communication.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business, reference ability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Track retrofit market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Work closely with the Project Execution team to ensure smooth handover after contract award.
  • Liaise with Finance, Procurement, and Engineering to ensure costs, terms, and specifications are clearly defined.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine or industrial sales, with at least 2 years in retrofit or technical project sales.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end sales processes involving complex solutions and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of engine systems, decarbonization technologies, and IMO compliance frameworks.
  • Skilled in proposal writing, business case development, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Proficiency in project management and customer relationship management.
