Job Responsibilities
- Support the commercial team in preparing and coordinating customer quotations, proposals, and commercial documentation
- Follow up with clients on quotation submissions, clarify requirements, and support the decision-making process
- Manage equipment-related contracts, including monitoring delivery schedules and milestone-based payment timelines
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ) to equipment and material vendors
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and ensure commercial deliverables meet service expectations
- Coordinate delivery of equipment and materials at PSA terminals, anchorages, or via freight forwarders
- Prepare commercial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation for management review
- Liaise with overseas agents and vendors to track enquiries, quotations, and order status
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in commercial quotations, sales support, or business development roles within the marine industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple commercial tasks concurrently
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in customer relationship management and client coordination
- Marketing or business development exposure would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of marine equipment and materials is preferred
