Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional market development by participating in industry conferences, exhibitions, and business networking activities to enhance brand presence.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders, including universities, design consultancies, main contractors, and specialised subcontractors.
- Identify and track project opportunities, building and managing a healthy project pipeline.
- Promote and advance project opportunities from early-stage engagement through to execution.
- Coordinate internal teams and resources to support tendering and bidding activities after project qualification.
- Lead or support contract negotiations, facilitate successful project award and signing.
- Manage post-contract internal handover to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the development and implementation of market strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Compile, analyse, and report market intelligence and business data to headquarters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or market expansion within a relevant (preferably engineering or project-based) industry.
- Strong execution and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and business negotiation.
- Good understanding of engineering project workflows, from opportunity identification to contract award and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
