Job Summary
Responsible for sales and business development of Syngas catalyst portfolio to Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen, and OTF gas plants in SEA/ANZ, driving market expansion and competitive positioning in the Syngas industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle including customer acquisition, bid proposal development with risk management, contract negotiation with pricing approval, and after-sales service support
- Analyze client technologies in detail to offer appropriate Syngas catalyst products and acquire new customers
- Maintain accurate order received and invoiced forecasts to support resource planning
- Manage reporting systems such as CRM, Installed Volume, Miller-Heimann Sheets, and Call Reports to track sales activities and performance
- Coordinate post-sales services including order processing, payment collection, complaint resolution, and technical service arrangements with Applied Catalysts Technology team
- Serve as primary customer contact for troubleshooting, start-up, and shutdown site services, collaborating with Applied Catalysts Technology team
- Collect and communicate competitor and market information
- Execute additional job-related tasks as assigned by direct and functional managers
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Syngas sales, preferably with Ammonia plants
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with regional customers and internal teams
- Competent in computer applications, especially MS Office and simulation/modelling software
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia to support communication with regional clients and stakeholders
