Purpose of the job
The Internal Sales Manager ensures customer satisfaction through control and organisation of all internal sales activities and is responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the internal sales team (Sales Support & Quotations and Order Management), as well as the continuous developments of the organisation with regards to processes and structure. The Internal Sales Manager is also responsible for the development of measurable efficiency (KPIs) in the organisation and ensures a way of working within internal sales in line with market requirements and minimal errors.
Duties and Tasks
- Planning of Capacity
- Ensuring that standard processes are adhered to
- Improvement through adaptation of existing processes and work instructions in the department as well as participation in new processes and creation of new work instructions
- Management of the team according to defined key figures
- Establishment of lean management
- Compliance with internal control system issues (e.g. signature regulations)
- Customer satisfaction analysis
- Optimisation of hit rate / interface portfolio segments: Prices, discounts, etc. in direct business
- Focus on efficient working methods
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering or Technology/Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Arts Business Administration
- Minimum of (5) years experience with proven Internal Sales track record.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration could be of advantage.
