Role: Sales Manager, C&I Solar
Location: Tokyo, Japan
We are partnering with a leading renewable energy company that is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow their solar portfolio and build corporate partnerships for sustainable energy.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth for rooftop, carport, and ground-mounted solar PPA solutions, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Lead commercial negotiations and close PPA contracts with corporate clients and local businesses.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in collaboration with technical teams.
- Prepare tailored proposals demonstrating cost savings and sustainability benefits.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with energy managers, consultants, and real estate partners.
- Coordinate with engineering, installation, and O&M teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify high-potential sectors and represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and sustainability forums to generate leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business or finance.
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience, including renewable energy background
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Business-level Japanese (spoken and written) to support client interactions
