Role Overview

The Sales Lead will lead regional growth initiatives focused on next-generation secure identity, robotics and intelligent automation solutions across ASEAN/APAC, specifically for the private sector.

The role is responsible for securing large-scale private sector contracts involving biometric authentication, automation, robotics and digital identity platforms.

This position requires strong expertise in large-scale system integration, and mission-critical deployments combining biometric technologies (fingerprint, facial, iris recognition) with robotics and automation for private sector in the ASEAN / APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for the private sector
  • Identify and pursue large-scale opportunities in the private sector, including but not limited to integrated resort, mission critical infrastructure, oil and gas, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, including tendering, RFP responses, consortium building, and contract negotiations
  • Build strategic relationships with local/regional partners, regulatory bodies, and supplier/vendor
  • Establish partnerships with system integrators, automation providers and infrastructure firms to strengthen competitive positioning
  • Provide market, policy and regulatory intelligence to support market entry and compliance
  • Drive regional revenue growth and long-term private sector account expansion

Requirements

  • 15+ years of business development experience in IT, biometrics or automation sector, with strong exposure in the private or public sector
  • Proven track record of winning large scale projects in the private or public sector
  • Strong understanding on biometrics, automation and robotics solutions, including but not limited to product, market and competition offerings
  • Experience managing multi-country or regional portfolios
  • Strong networking skills including connections with C-Suite and decision makers
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and consortium leadership capabilities
  • Experience managing a team
