ROLE
BGC Group is currently looking for motivated individuals to join Aurel (our agency brokerage business) in Asia providing services to an institutional client base including asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, market makers, and banks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business development into prospective clients on the YEN Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) or North Asian IRS (TWD, China, Korea, Hong Kong) desk.
- Act as the YEN IRS/North Asian IRS agency sales broker to generate business, cultivate existing relationships and create new business ideas including but not limited to trade generation / trade execution.
- Provide timely and accurate agency broking & sales services to our clients including but not limited to senior portfolio managers at hedge funds and the ALM (Asset & Liability) desks at banks within Asia.
- Sales and client relationship management with aim to increase profitability of existing and prospective clients.
- Revenue-generating for the YEN IRS/North Asian IRS desk.
- Manage and execute client orders properly through system in accordance with Company policies.
- Calculate dealing prices, compile, organize and maintain records of business transaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent communication in English is required.
- Minimum of 15+ years banking sales experience dealing with financial services clients (specifically hedge funds and banks in Asia).
- Proven track record and long-standing client relationships with hedge funds, ALM desks, asset managers, portfolio managers & market makers.
- Self-motivated individual with strong ability to generate new ideas on trade generation & trade execution.
- Good client relationship and client management experience.
- Good team player and able to work independently.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work well under pressure.
