Cleverly SG is a digital marketing agency helping businesses grow through SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and web solutions. As a Sales Intern, you'll support the sales pipeline end-to-end - from prospecting and outreach to qualification, follow-ups, and basic proposal preparation.
This is not a sit there and watch internship. You'll be trained, but you'll also be expected to execute.
Build lists of potential clients (SMEs) using Google/LinkedIn/directories
Research each prospect: industry, business model, current marketing presence, quick opportunity notes
Maintain a clean CRM / tracker (no messy spreadsheets that make people cry)
Support outreach via email/LinkedIn/WhatsApp (templates provided)
Follow up professionally and consistently (without spamming)
Qualify leads with a simple framework:
business type, goals, budget range, urgency, decision-maker
Assist with preparing proposals, meeting notes, and follow-up summaries
Help coordinate intro calls, reminders, and next steps
Track pipeline stages and ensure no lead dies quietly due to lack of follow-up
Do light competitor checks (their ads, website, positioning)
Capture insights that help sales messaging and pitching
Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree (Business/Marketing/Comms or related)
Confident communicator (spoken + written)
Comfortable with rejection and follow-ups (sales is not for the fragile)
Organised, consistent, and able to manage multiple leads without dropping balls
Interest in digital marketing (SEO/SEM/Meta/Website)
Experience in part-time sales, customer service, tuition sales, insurance, retail sales etc.
Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot / Pipedrive / Notion / Google Sheets)
