Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Sales Interior Designer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strong background in sales and customer service. The Sales Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and presenting design solutions to clients, managing projects from conception to completion, and driving sales through effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain client relationships by actively understanding their design needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts that align with client requirements and project goals
- Present detailed design proposals and product knowledge to clients to facilitate informed decision-making
- Create accurate visual representations of design concepts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software to enhance client engagement
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand client base through excellent customer service
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and interior design products to provide clients with the most current and effective solutions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience in interior design sales or customer service training available for candidates without experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
- Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and sales propositions clearly
- Customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Sales and marketing acumen to develop and execute effective strategies
- Product knowledge in interior design materials and furnishings
- Note: Language proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is a plus to support communication with diverse client groups
