Sales Insights Analyst
Our client is hiring a Sales Insights Analyst to support commercial strategy through data insights. You'll work with cross-functional teams to analyze sales trends, improve reporting, and support planning across products and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales by product, customer segment, and trade lane to spot trends and growth opportunities
- Track market conditions to flag risks or potential gains
- Identify revenue gaps and recommend solutions
- Support forecasting and planning with data models and scenario analysis
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support sales decisions
- Provide insights to help optimize pricing, targeting, and positioning
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product performance and strategy
- Contribute to special projects that improve sales operations and data systems
What You'll Need
- Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a similar field
- 3-5 years in analytics, business planning, or related roles, ideally from consulting background
- Experience working with Sales team, analyze the market trends, sales forecasting, and turn the data into actionable insights
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Forecasting and modeling experience
- Project coordination or management exposure
- Bonus: Skills in SQL, Python, or machine learning tools
