Job Description

A Sales Representative's job is to

sell a company's products/services by finding leads, building client relationships, understanding customer needs, demonstrating value, negotiating deals, and closing sales to drive revenue

, often serving as the main link between the business and its customers while ensuring satisfaction. Key duties include prospecting, giving presentations, managing client accounts, handling orders, and reporting sales activity, requiring strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential customers via calls, emails, and networking.
  • Client Engagement: Meet with clients, understand their needs, and present tailored product/service solutions.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Demonstrate product benefits, negotiate terms, and prepare sales agreements to close deals.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients for repeat business.
  • Reporting & Admin: Track sales activities, update CRM systems, and report progress to management.
  • Customer Support: Address post-sale issues and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
