Job Summary
Drive business growth by identifying and securing new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting partnership initiatives in the pest control industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to potential customers to effectively communicate product benefits
- Promote partnership initiatives by aligning partner interests to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Enhance sales and partnership acquisition processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone and email to convert leads into sales
- Negotiate and close deals professionally while addressing client objections to secure agreements
- Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and encourage long-term retention
- Collect and analyze market intelligence and customer data to inform sales strategies and reporting
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and updates to management for performance tracking
- Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs while managing account receivables to support business cash flow
- Assist the Business Development Head with ad hoc projects and tasks to support overall business objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles
- Experience in the pest control industry is advantageous for understanding market dynamics
- Possession of own vehicle is an added advantage for mobility and client visits
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Availability to start immediately or on short notice is preferred
