Sales Executive

Job Summary

Drive business growth by developing new sales opportunities and managing client relationships in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless shipment execution and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the freight forwarding and logistics sector to expand market reach
• Enhance the company's market position for marine parts and marine parts warehousing services through targeted sales strategies
• Prepare and negotiate freight rates, quotations, and service proposals to secure customer contracts
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and overseas agents to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate fluctuations to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management through effective sales planning and execution
• Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to inform management decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• At least 10 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
• Strong understanding of air, sea, and/or land freight products and services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
