We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to develop and grow our maritime water testing & IHM business. The role focuses on acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts within the shipping and maritime sector, promoting our testing services related to ballast water, potable water, wastewater, and environmental (IHM) compliance.
Job Description:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping sector
- Promote laboratory water testing services (e.g., ballast water, potable water, wastewater, environmental (IHM) monitoring)
- Generate leads through client meetings, industry events, and referrals
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, operators, managers, shipyards, and maritime agents
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely follow-up and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with laboratory, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Market & Industry Awareness
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments (IMO, ballast water regulations, port state control
- Provide feedback to management on market needs and potential service expansion
Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and CRM updates
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management
