Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers, including retail, food service, and industrial accounts, through regular visits, relationship building, and proactive account management. Daily tasks include identifying new business opportunities, presenting product ranges, preparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms in line with company guidelines. The Sales Executive will monitor sales performance, track inventory needs, and collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves gathering market insights, supporting promotional activities, and providing accurate sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in food and beverage distribution or FMCG.
- Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and business development.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and forecast demand to support planning and decision-making.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting products and solutions to diverse customers.
- High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail when handling multiple accounts and tasks.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment, visiting customer locations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or sales management tools.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Knowledge of chilled and frozen product categories or food service operations is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and meet sales targets ethically and consistently.
