This position is responsible for expanding current business through new customer development, customer account management and/or assigned products sales, and also to achieve budget of assigned customers sales and / or assigned product's sales.
Job description:
Business development activities
- Responsible in executing plan for development of new customers.
- Work closely with factory representative for new customer development activities
- Assist Product Management & Marketing (PMM) group in implementing and executing plan in development of new customers
- Responsible for business growth through customer account management and/or assigned products sales
Customer Service
Attend to all customers enquiries / issues related to sales, not limited to as below:
- Contract and Agreement, Quotation
- Pricing negotiation
- Coordinate new models and design issues
- Prototype sample and mass production order fulfilment
- Schedule Change Management (including Stock / Disposal management)
- Delivery / Quality issues
- Customer's specification / requirement etc.
- Customer's payment and credibility
- Customer's complaints
Marketing & Sales Plan / Forecast
- Make sound analysis of customer's demand and provide monthly sales forecast to direct superiors & above.
- Collect and analyses customer & market information in sound and timely manner
- Provide & execute short and long-term plan to increase market share
- Visit and contact customer regularly to improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and obtain the latest information.
- Coordinate with factories for management of customers forecasts
Others
- Prepare budget being tasked by direct superior & above
- Accountable for overall stock planning and management of consignment or stock of customers if assigned
- Ensure the prompt collection of payment for his or her customers assigned
- Carry out any job that is being assigned by direct superior & above for achievement of department & business targets.
- Support customer or company's workshop or programs.
- Support any PMM related activities if being assigned
- Involve in company committee members, project leader or auditor if being assigned
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, or any other related field is preferred
- 2-5 years sales experience in semi-conductor, electronics, or related high-tech industries is preferred
- Good knowledge of semi-conductor supply chain, materials, components, or equipment is a strong advantage
- Able to work independently and monitor timelines and activities
- Self-motivated and result-driven
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Meticulous, good analytical and interpersonal skills
- Travel domestically and internationally as required for business purpose
