The Sales Executive will be responsible for customer engagement, sales generation, and account servicing. This role requires managing day-to-day sales activities, expanding the client base, and working closely with the sales team to achieve monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
. Respond promptly to sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
. Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
. Deliver effective after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and needs analysis.
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
. Collaborate with sales team members to drive growth and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
. Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
. Support the Head of Sales in sales planning, strategy development, and related initiatives.
. Source and procure materials locally or externally to fulfill customer orders.
. Work closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collection and adherence to credit terms.
Education & Skills
. Minimum Diploma in Sales/Marketing or relevant field.
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
. Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
. Team player with a collaborative attitude.
Experience
. Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in a similar capacity servicing customers in the marine, oil & gas, construction, or engineering sector.
. Experience in the steel, oil & gas, construction, or industrial supply sectors preferred.
