Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join a global engineering company specializing in precision motion control and industrial automation technologies. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their long-term business needs
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring timely resolution and high service standards
- Provide after-sales support, including follow-ups to drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals
- Participate in a team-based 24/7 customer support on-call rotation
2. Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and client visits
- Deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations to address client needs
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals effectively while maintaining margins
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets
3. Reporting & Coordination
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline updates in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. technical, finance) to ensure seamless execution and delivery
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the marine or related industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Resilient, adaptable, and target-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
