Our client is a manufacturing company that produces components used across various industries, including automotive and communications.
They are hiring a Sales Executive who will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, negotiating deals, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage administrative tasks, including price adjustments and updates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Prepare sales quotations and respond to customer inquiries related to delivery, quality, and environmental concerns.
Identify, promote, and develop new client accounts through effective presentations.
Track project progress, document meeting minutes, and manage sample requests and data sheets.
Conduct sales forecasting and develop strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Travel for business trips to India and other ASEAN regions once every 2-3 months (India being the most frequent destination).
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent fields
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a manufacturing company, ideally with exposure to electronic components
Must have prior work experience in a Japanese company environment.
Proficient in Mandarin language, as the role requires regular communication with Mandarin speaking business counterparts
Dedicated and has a strong sense of responsibility in meeting agreed working hours and deadlines
Demonstrates professional work ethics and accountability in daily tasks
Good to have [Non mandatory]
Candidate who can speaks Japanese language proficiency will be a bonus (To liaise with Japan HQ and Japanese speaking counterparts)
A valid Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.
