Sales Executive (IT Dealer Channel - Distribution)
Job Summary
We are a leading IT distribution company seeking a motivated Sales Executive to support and grow our IT dealer and independent retailer network. This role focuses on dealer relationship support, sales execution, inventory monitoring, and coordination to ensure healthy sell-in and sell-out performance across the dealer channel.
This position is suitable for candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in building a career in IT distribution and channel sales.
Annual total remuneration, including bonuses and commissions, may exceed $100,000 depending on performance
Key Responsibilities
IT Dealer Relationship Support
- Support sales activities for IT dealers and independent retailers
- Build and maintain good working relationships with dealer owners, store managers, and sales staff
- Assist in onboarding new dealers and maintaining dealer account information
Sales Execution & Target Support
- Achieve monthly sales targets for the dealer channel
- Follow up on dealer orders, pricing, promotions, and delivery schedules
- Assist in execution of dealer programs, bundles, and promotional activities
Sales Data & Reporting
- Update and maintain dealer sales reports using Microsoft Excel
- Track sell-in, sell-out, and dealer performance by SKU and brand
- Use Excel functions (e.g. VLOOKUP) to consolidate and analyze data
Inventory & Stock Monitoring
- Monitor dealer inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Identify slow-moving or ageing stock and flag for action
- Coordinate with internal teams on stock replenishment and stock movement
Internal Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams including sales operations, logistics, and marketing
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of sales and inventory reports
- Support ad-hoc sales and operational tasks as required
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Exposure to IT dealers, retail sales, or distribution is an advantage
- Strong interest in IT products, consumer electronics, or channel sales
Skills & Attributes
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a sales role
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel knowledge of VLOOKUP is an advantage
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
