The Sales Executive - Chemistry position is a role with significant responsibilities for delivering the ambitious growth trajectory that IT Technologies has set out. The sales executive will work in tandem with the sales manager in achieving sales numbers and developing strategies to increase the company's footprint within the scientific industry as well as ensure that the best solution is presented to the client.
Responsibilities
- Develop a market-focused business plan with trends and patterns to identify business opportunities
- Generate leads and opportunities within responsible business portfolio
- Foster and develop new relationships within the scientific industries
- Sell and achieve revenue targets for our laboratory products by targeted prospecting and closing new business deals
- Create brand awareness for our product portfolio
- Organize customer workshops and represent our company at scientific conferences and trade fairs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive initiatives, enhance campaigns, and build material
- Contribute to the overall success via close collaboration with internal teams to manage tenders and requests
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads.
- Understanding customers needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Answering potential customers questions and sending additional information per email.
- Drafting of quotations for our customers.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Explaining and demonstrating basic features of products and services.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemistry, Life Sciences or related fields
- Prior experience in wet lab environment is a plus
- Prior experience in consultative Sales and Account management is a plus
- Affinity for new technologies and laboratory equipment
- Knowledge of the analytical chemistry and life science market, along with hands-on experience is a plus
- Exemplary communication and confident negotiation skills - verbal, written and interpersonal
- High self-motivation, good planning, excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
