Sales Executive (Building Materials)

Key Responsibilities

1. Indoor & Outdoor Sales

- Handle both indoor and outdoor sales activities to promote the company's range of floor and wall tiles, sanitary ware, bathroom fittings and related products.

- Attend to walk-in customers, enquiries and sales leads at the showroom.

- Understand customers requirements and recommend suitable products based on their design preferences, project specifications and budgets.

- Conduct regular outdoor sales visits to Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, Contractors and other potential customers.

- Prepare quotations, follow up on sales enquiries and negotiate pricing to secure orders.

- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the company's overall sales objectives.

2. Project Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Developers and Contractors.

- Promote the company's products and work towards getting products specified for upcoming projects.

- Follow up on project leads, tenders, quotations and sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to order confirmation.

- Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with relevant stakeholders to secure project orders.

- Keep abreast of market developments, competitors activities, industry trends and upcoming projects.

3. Customer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and business partners.

- Provide product recommendations, technical information and after-sales support.

- Handle customer feedback and resolve sales-related issues professionally.

4. Sales Administration & Reporting

- Prepare sales quotations, proposals and sales reports.

- Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities and project pipelines.

- Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates on business development activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in the building materials, floor and wall tiles, sanitary ware, bathroom fittings or other Building Materials related industry.

- Prior experience in project sales and proven ability to liaise with Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and Contractors.

- Good understanding of building materials, product specifications and interior design trends.

- Experience handling both indoor showroom sales and outdoor business development activities.

- Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and develop new business accounts.

- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently.

Working hours:

Alternate 6 days work week (4 weekends and 2 weekdays off per month)

Mon to Fri: 10am to 7pm

Sat or Sun: 10am to 6pm
