Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Generate and qualify leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking arrange meetings and conduct sales presentations.
- Manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting and solution development to quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and costings based on client specifications.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, including cross-selling and up-selling of valves, actuators, and related systems.
2. Technical Sales & Solutions
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable valve and actuator solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and develop customized proposals.
- Maintain strong product and application knowledge across industries (e.g., oil & gas, marine, water treatment).
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
3. Client & Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, engineers, and external partners to deliver solutions and close deals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipelines.
4. Market Awareness & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new product opportunities.
- Track sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads, opportunities, and performance.
- Share market insights and contribute to improving sales strategies.
5. Customer Service
- Ensure timely follow-ups, issue resolution, and clear communication with clients.
- Maintain high service standards and build a strong industry reputation.
Key Competencies
- B2B sales experience in valves, actuators, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of flow control systems or steam system.
