Sales Engineer (Marine)

About the Company

We are a specialised marine engineering company providing water treatment and desalination systems for vessels and marine applications. Our solutions support shipyards, shipowners, and marine operators across Singapore and the region.

We are seeking a driven and technically inclined Sales Engineer to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine and shipyard sectors

• Manage and grow existing key customer accounts

• Prepare and follow up on technical proposals and commercial quotations

• Participate in technical discussions and commercial negotiations with customers

• Understand client requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions

• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations

• Coordinate with overseas factories and internal teams on enquiries and project tenders

• Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and activity reports

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 2-5 years of B2B sales experience in marine, shipyard, offshore, or industrial equipment sectors preferred

• Candidates from industrial or mechanical equipment sales backgrounds are welcome to apply

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients

• Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently

• Comfortable with outdoor site visits and customer meetings

• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia for business purposes (approximately once per month) and occasional overseas travel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic salary: SGD 3,500 - 5,000 (commensurate with experience)
