Job Description

We are partnering with a globally established leader in precision instruments and industrial measurement solutions to identify a driven and commercially savvy Sales Engineer to support business growth in Singapore.

Position Overview

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing a defined territory, driving revenue growth, and developing long-term customer partnerships. The role involves consultative selling of technical solutions to customers across manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, food, and related industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Management

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue targets

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and market segments

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal submission and contract closure

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting

2. Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

  • Understand customer operational requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions

  • Expand account penetration through cross-selling and upselling initiatives

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention

3. Technical Consultation & Solution Selling

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions

  • Translate technical specifications into clear commercial value propositions

  • Work closely with internal technical and service teams to deliver integrated solutions

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, service, and operations teams to support campaigns and project execution

  • Ensure timely follow-up on enquiries and project deliverables

  • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial or technical products

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
