The team works closely with clients to provide reliable performance, reduced downtime, and high-quality technical support for critical equipment needs.

Role Description The Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. This role involves engaging with existing and potential customers to understand technical requirements and propose suitable turbocharger MRO solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing quotations and proposals, conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The role also includes coordinating with internal service and engineering teams to ensure accurate solutions, monitoring project progress, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer is expected to identify new business opportunities, contribute to sales strategies, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to bridge technical requirements and commercial solutions for turbocharger MRO or related engineering services.
  • Experience in Technical Support, including diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and collaborating with service teams to resolve customer challenges.
  • Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical concepts clearly and present proposals and solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven Sales capabilities, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and negotiation to close deals in industrial or marine markets.
  • Customer Service orientation, with a focus on building long-term relationships, managing expectations, and delivering responsive follow-up.
  • Relevant technical background, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in rotating equipment or turbochargers.
  • Ability to work on-site and visit customer facilities or vessels as needed, including occasional travel and field work.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, preparing reports, and analyzing sales and service data to support decision-making.
  • Prior experience in marine, offshore, or power generation industries is an advantage, especially in MRO environments.
