Provide consultation, solutions, and product knowledge to support the Sales team
Identify customer business requirements/technical requirements, and generate sales opportunities with the proper solution.
Design the right solutions to achieve customer business outcomes and maximize customer investment and satisfaction.
Present the solution to customers and prepare the technical offer and its cost.
Keep updated with market trends to address customer business/technical requirements and find out the right new products/services to enhance existing focus solutions.
Work closely with focus technology/business partners, building and growing business relationships.
Handover ordered projects to the Engineer team.
Retain and upsell our services to customers.
Experience
3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role
Strong technical knowledge in below IT infrastructure solutions will be a plus: Structured cabling, rack, UPS, wireless AP, Network, server, CCTV, door access, AV systems, server room
Strong business acumen with strong interests in keeping up-to-date with current technologies.
Willingness to travel as we have business trip requests from customers to assist with on-site projects overseas.
Possess strong logical thinking analytical ability, and great problem-solving skills
Must have experience working in a customer-facing role.
Strong consultative skill set to include communications with varying levels of customer personnel, as well as the ability to identify and help close new opportunities within existing clients.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation, negotiation skills in English and Japanese (Need to liaise with client, APAC offices, and headquarter).
