We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to work closely with our sales team in delivering customized solutions to clients. This role requires someone who can effectively connect technical capabilities with customer requirements, contributing to business growth by showcasing product benefits, developing tailored solutions, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with prospective clients
- Develop and deliver proposals, including detailed technical specifications and solution designs
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions according to client needs
- Prepare and respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support
- Support customer onboarding and deliver training on product usage
- Stay informed on product updates, industry developments, and competitor activities
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Quality Control-related field
- Demonstrated experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical sales
- Strong technical expertise in relevant areas (e.g., geometrical measurement, 3D software, CMM applications, scientific instruments)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Possession of own transport for travel to off-site locations
