Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is mainly responsible for executing sales & marketing initiatives, engaging new customers and maintaining the relationship with existing accounts in order to bring in revenue for the Precision Robotics Business Group.
Job Responsibilities
To achieve and/or exceed sales and profit margin targets in assigned growth location/segment/customers, key responsibilities include (not limited to):
Development of sales strategy and implementation of tactical plan.
Identification of key/target accounts/industry segment.
Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, through prompt updating of opportunities management tracking and account development planning.
Develop new customer accounts through sales and marketing activities.
Expand sales portfolio to all existing and new potential customers.
Supporting any marketing related activities to improve the presence and customer knowledge of our Precision Robotic Products
Providing customer feedback to the Research and Development team and Business Group management.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
People Requirements
Minimum 2 years of sales experience with Industrial clients (i.e. B2B)
Prior experience in the automation or robotics industry is preferred.
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or Equivalent
Field sales experience is vital. Proven ability to interact directly with a sales organization, understand customer needs and influence them.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and maintain high level of Sales Discipline
