Manage customer enquiries and understand technical, operational and commercial requirements to recommend suitable repair and replacement solutions.
Conduct site surveys, coordinate with factory and internal technical teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
Prepare technical inquiries, cost estimates, quotations and proposals, ensuring required internal approvals and profitability targets are met.
Present proposals, negotiate commercial terms and follow up with customers to secure orders and achieve sales targets.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, purchasing, subcontractors and suppliers to support smooth and timely project execution.
Serve as the key customer contact, provide project updates, resolve technical or commercial issues, and handle customer complaints professionally.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, managing agents, building owners and other key stakeholders.
Identify new sales opportunities through customer visits, equipment assessments, market intelligence and existing account development.
Monitor sales pipeline, quotation status and outstanding payments, and support resolution of billing matters when required.
Ensure solutions and project activities comply with company standards, safety requirements and contractual obligations.
Job Requirement
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
Relevant experience in sales, business development or technical-commercial roles, preferably within the lift/elevator, engineering, building systems or manufacturing industry.
Strong customer service, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Good commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple enquiries, quotations and projects while meeting deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office experience with SAP/ERP systems is an advantage.
