Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Sales Engineer to support business development and manage the full sales cycle, from customer engagement to order fulfilment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy combining technical knowledge with customer interaction in a dynamic environment.
- Develop new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies
- Expand customer base and monitor sales performance
- Handle customer and distributor inquiries via phone, email, or fax
- Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and maintain sales documentation
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, and support closing of deals
- Monitor order status and coordinate closely with factory on production updates
- Coordinate shipment and delivery schedules with internal stakeholders
- Conduct customer visits and maintain strong client relationships
- Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
- Travel locally and overseas when necessary
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent)
- Candidates with relevant sales experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, proactive, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage
- Willing to travel when required
