Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation, solution recommendations, and product expertise to support the Sales team.
- Analyse customer business and technical requirements to propose suitable solutions and generate sales opportunities.
- Design solutions that meet customer objectives and maximise value and satisfaction.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, including solution designs and costing.
- Stay updated on market trends to identify new technologies and enhance solution offerings.
- Collaborate closely with technology and business partners to build strong working relationships.
- Handover confirmed projects to the Engineering team for implementation.
- Retain existing customers and identify opportunities to upsell services.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar customerfacing technical role.
- Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts
- Strong business acumen and keen interest in current and emerging technologies.
- Willingness to travel overseas for customer onsite project support.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical capabilities, and problemsolving skills.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders at various levels and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
- Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure solutions such as structured cabling, racks, UPS, wireless access points, networking, servers, CCTV, door access, AV systems, or server room solutions is an added advantage.
