Sales Engineer (Indoors)

We are a trading / service company in the Marine and Offshore Sector.

Currently seeking a self-motivated and passionate team member, who takes ownership of his/her work, is proactive, and has a can-do mindset.

Technical Sales :

1. Providing technical expertise and product knowledge to clients, addressing their specific needs, and offering tailored solutions.
2. Collaborating with suppliers and principals to communicate customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
3. Prepare and issue documents such as quotations and purchase orders etc.
4. Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand our network.
5. Depending on project requirement, may be required to visit site (onboard vessel) to inspect and generate report and findings. Additional pay will be given for each day of on-site visit.
6. Any other ad-hoc assignments given

Requirements:

Minimum local diploma in electrical engineering.

1-2 year working experience in marine industry or as a sales engineer is highly advantageous.

Must be PC literate.

Aptitude to acquire new skills, technical and product knowledge

Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Independent, self-motivated and able to work effectively to meet operation objectives

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Proficiency in AUTOCAD.

5.5 Days Work Week :

- Monday to Friday ( 9.00 am to 5.00 pm )

- Saturday ( 9.00 am to 12.00pm )

Annual bonuses vary from 1 to 3 months+++, depending on company and individual performance.
