Responsibilities:
Customer Account Management
- Take full ownership of existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and growth.
- Manage day-to-day customer inquiries and issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and end-users while providing technical and commercial support.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and developing new customer accounts in target market segments.
- Conduct market surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Promote innovative technologies and energy-efficient solutions to meet client needs and sustainability goals.
Sales Execution & Technical Support
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to consultants, developers, and owners.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate proposals, quotations, and contracts to ensure profitability and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure compliance, smooth project execution, and timely delivery of customised solutions.
Marketing & Communication
- Contribute to the development of marketing tools and content, including website updates, social media, brochures, datasheets, and specification sheets.
- Communicate all relevant information and insights to management in a timely and structured manner.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking platforms to strengthen brand visibility and partnerships.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales plans and forecasts, aligned with company goals.
- Manage the sales budget and revenue forecasting for the team.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor sales teams, set targets, monitor KPIs, and provide regular performance reports.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve the team's technical knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend client and project meetings to support sales and project alignment.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with engineering and service teams for project success.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of regional experience in technical sales, selling products and/or solutions in the HVAC & Ref industry
- Strong regional knowledge of HVAC standards and energy efficiency practices.
- Proficient in HVAC design software.
- Highly interested in the commercial element of engineering while being technically adept.
