Sales Engineer - Electrical Distribution Solutions

What you'll be doing

1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the electrical distribution market
2. Engaging with customers to understand their unique requirements and propose tailored solutions
3. Preparing detailed proposals and technical specifications to win new contracts
4. Negotiating commercial terms and closing sales deals
5. Providing post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform our sales strategy
7. Collaborating with the wider engineering team to develop innovative new products and services

What we're looking for

1. A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role within the electrical distribution industry
3. Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and closing sales deals
4. Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and systems
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with customers
6. Commercial acumen and the ability to negotiate favourable contract terms
7. A collaborative and customer-focused mindset
